Tournament Information & Basic Rules
- FIFA rules apply with some exceptions
- Registration of maximum of 10 players
- Game time: one period of 15 minutes -with the size of the field and the heat we feel this will be challenging.
- Interchange / rolling substitutions apply
- No offside
- Field size: 50m x 30m with 7-a-side goals ( bigger than your traditional 5 a side goals - this size field would normally play 6 or 7 a side)
- We will only be playing 5-a-side so it will be challenging
- Goalkeepers cannot kick directly from hands
- Teams play a minimum of 5 games
Bangkok International Soccer 5s – Play in the Heart of Asia
After a long absence we are back in the Kingdoms Capital city. Previously we ran the 7 a side format but we will be introducing our return with the 5s format. The Bangkok International Soccer 5s is held annually in Thailand’s capital city. The tournament will feature Open Men’s, Open Women’s and Masters divisions for Men Over 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55.
This is an invitation-only event designed for players who love the game and play in the right spirit. With no prize money on offer, teams enter for pure enjoyment and the chance to compete in a friendly, social environment. Each year we aim to attract teams from around the world, including Asia, Australia, the Middle East, the UK and Europe.
Matches are played at Super Star Arena, one of Bangkok’s best football facilities. The complex offers FIFA Quality artificial turf pitches (50m x 35m) with 7‑a‑side goals and excellent support facilities.
The tournament format ensures every team has something to play for, with Cup, Plate and Bowl sections. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of five games.

Tournament Playing Venue
- Super Star Arena is not your run-of-the-mill football pitch, it has been certified as one of Thailand’s Official International Standard venues, endorsed by Carabao and the Thai 7-a-Side Football Association. Located on Lat Phrao Soi 80, the arena is easily accessible and comes with on-site restaurants and spacious areas to accommodate teams. The four pitches 50m x 30m are top choices for players seeking quality and competitive atmosphere like the Bangkok 5s.
